Menu names and screenshots are shown in Norwegian, as they appear in Rubic Admin with Norwegian selected.
Under Innstillinger → Roller you see the roles in the organisation and what each role gives access to. This is also where you control who has access to Rubic Admin.
Standard roles and custom roles
The standard roles, such as Administrator, Hospitant and Member, are shared by everyone and can only be changed by Rubic. Turn on Skjul standardroller (Hide standard roles) to see only Administrator, Member, Hospitant and your organisation's own roles.
Create a custom role
- Click Ny rolle (New role).
- Name the role and choose whether access should be inherited by guardians.
- Tick the permissions the role should have. They are grouped by module: Rubic Medlem, Rubic Aktivitet, Rubic Lokasjoner, Rubic Påmelding, Rubic Funksjonær/Organizer and Rubic Akkreditering.
- Under Hvem kan gi denne rollen (Who can assign this role), choose which roles can assign it to others.
- Click Lagre.
Examples of permissions
- Read member list / Edit members
- Invoice members / Manage financial data
- Manage and approve expenses in the organisation
- Find and merge duplicate people
- Manage activities, locations, sign-ups and events
Assigning roles to people is done from the person card or the people list. See Assign and remove roles.
