Create a selection

Menu names and screenshots are shown in Norwegian, as they appear in Rubic Admin with Norwegian selected.

A selection (utvalg) is a saved list of people, for example the board, the volunteer crew or everyone going to a training camp. You can filter the people list by it, send messages to it and use it in activity sign-ups.

Static and dynamic

• Statisk (Static) – a list you maintain yourself by adding and removing people.
• Dynamisk (Dynamic) – people who match rules you set up. The rule builder is coming soon.

Create a selection from the people list

1. Go to Personer and tick the people.
2. Click Utvalg in the toolbar and choose Opprett utvalg fra valgte (Create selection from selected), or Legg til i utvalg (Add to selection) to add them to an existing one.

Create an empty selection

1. Go to Utvalg and click Nytt utvalg (New selection).
2. Give it a name and description, choose Statisk and click Opprett.

Selection settings

Click the selection to open it. There are four tabs:

• Oversikt (Overview) – name and description. You can also delete the selection here.
• Personer (People) – who is included.
• Publisering (Publishing) – choose whether the selection is Tilgjengelig i medlemsliste (available as a filter for others with access to the member list) and Tilgjengelig for aktivitetspåmeldinger (available for activity sign-ups).
• Delt med (Shared with) – share the selection with a person, a role or an organisation using Ny deling.
